Reflective and deep, that's what this piece is. Reflective because of its glossy hand-applied shellac finish; deep because of the beautifully deep brown color of the walnut wood. What did you think I meant? Also, it's a big fig form, stretching out to 9" wide and 6.5" high. The lighter sapwood patches are nicely balanced around the opening.
