We had an old birch log that we’d been kicking around the shop for a few years that came from our neighbors' tree. We decided to mill it down and turn it into a stool for Bobby’s father. Let us know if you’d like us to do the same for that old tree that you had to cut down from your yard. It’s a great story and makes for excellent conversation.
Dimensions: 19.25" W x 10.25" D x 10.5" H
You must supply us with the desired timber. We will contact you after you place your order to discuss pick-up / drop-off arrangements for the timber. Dimensions are subject to the quality of the donor lumber.
All item are handmade in Los Angeles, CA.
Stitched.
Our bespoke stools come stitched together with butterfly inlays on the top and bottom. We put the live-edge facing inwards because frankly, it looks damn good that way.
Built for Usage.
We don’t cut any corners when it comes to the strength of our stools. Every joint is constructed using a mortise and tenon and is capable of handling well over 250lbs of weight.
The Finish.
Since you’ll be sitting on this piece or standing on with your shoes / feet, we finish our bespoke stools with satin sheened lacquer.
Product Care↓
Our bespoke stools are finished with a satin-sheened lacquer but you can still condition the finish with our furniture wax to keep it pristine. We'll send you a sample to get your going. You can either order more wax from us or use a furniture wax from another reputable supplier. But either way, we recommend that you continue to condition your furniture frequently to keep it looking beautiful for years to come.
If using Oliver Inc. Furniture Wax, apply a small amount to a microfiber cloth and buff it onto the surface in a circular motion. Let sit for 5–10 minutes, and then remove excess by buffing with a fresh microfiber.

Intended Use
While we build all our pieces to heirloom quality, we recommend using our bespoke stools for their intended use only and should only be used to support the weight of a human being and objects up to 250lbs.
Imperfections
One of our favorite things about hand-crafting products is that each piece bears imperfections that make it uniquely yours. Please know that when you buy something from us, what you receive will be perfectly imperfect—and that’s something to celebrate.
