A project inspired by ceramic handcrafted head vases from Sicily which are called Teste di Moro.
Our collection translates these masterpieces from ceramic into leather as a tribute to Sicilian ceramic maestros and to our homeland, with vibrant colours and perky elements.
This eccentric multifunctional object consists of three separate parts that represent the faces of two lovers - a Moorish man and a young Sicilian maiden from a bloody love and revenge story from medieval legend and the bottom part that represents the triskeles, the symbol of Sicily. After assembling all the parts by the snap buttons the object becomes a quirky storage bin or as a vase cover after removing the bottom part.
