Wall mounted, ships with all necessary mounting hardware

Crafted one piece at a time at our shop in Albuquerque, NM, USA

Built out of solid American hardwood

Available in custom finishes, dimensions, or mirrored (with the shelves on the right instead of the left as you look at it) upon request.

The Cirrus Coat Rack is wall mounted with seven hooks for coats, hats, or backpacks, and a series of small shelves for keys, a wallet, or whatever tools or accouterments you take with you into the world. It’s made out of solid white ash hardwood and built with exposed joinery that has been carefully designed for beauty and strength.

The shelves are inspired by landscape paintings and old trees cascading off the sides of mountains. They are perfectly sized for the things we keep in our pockets or for small mementos to greet us as we go out and come back from the day.

Each piece is built to order one at a time by master craftspeople in our shop in Albuquerque, NM, and assembled to respect the character of the individual pieces of wood. We use a durable hand rubbed oil-wax finish that’s long lasting, easy to repair, and brings out the wood’s natural beauty.

Instructions for attaching to the wall and all necessary hardware are included.

Driven by contemporary design | Rooted in traditional craftsmanship

Arid is based in the desert landscape of Albuquerque, NM, and we design and build all our furniture in house. We create sharply contemporary, charismatic pieces rooted in traditional craftsmanship that has been reimagined through modern machinery and techniques. Each piece is built one at a time using exposed joinery, careful detailing, and hand matched boards to create a unified whole reveling in the beauty of wood. At Arid, our mission is to use a daring design sensibility paired with a deep love for how things are built to make pieces that are full of verve, brimming with life, and that bring delight into the world.

Each piece is made to order and we offer customization in size, wood species, hardware, or anything else appropriate for your project. We also offer a full service, custom woodworking shop and are happy to work with you to design a new piece from the ground up if none of our collection quite fits your needs. We love talking about this stuff, so please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
