Thrown and altered porcelain wall sculpture finished with blue celadon glaze. Porcelain the most delicate clay to work with which results in partially translucent and luminous forms that are vastly stronger than they appear.
Amphoric I and Amohoric II are midfire porcelain which allows for brighter glaze colors and the clay body has a slightly warm hue. Amphoric III and IV are highfired porcelain which allows for greater transparency and fishes with a more subtle blue with a cool toned clay finish. This piece is thirteen inches by twelve inches by four inches. All are one of a kind.
All necessary hanging hardware is included along with detailed hanging instructions and the hardware is discreetly hidden by design. Only a pencil, drill and level required for installation, no wall stud necessary. All items are double boxed, and shipped with custom foam insulation and are fully insured for shipping.
