Custom-made, soothing (yet dynamic) compositions—as two complementary wallpapers and four coordinating wall prints—for a new art-centric hotel in Boston.
To create this collection, I started with photographs of my original black-and-white typographic word art. Then I distorted different phrases using apps on my phone to create patterns. And then I took several of these patterns, distorted them further into abstract 3D shapes, and paired them with a range of colorful backgrounds. The result is a cohesive series that evokes depth and mystery—hints of another world behind the scenes, which now you know the story behind. :)
