The idea for this abstract painting came to me while walking on the seashore near Venice.
Countless ripples of water were drawing intertwining lines, shaping the sand of the beach in a wavy continuum.
When I follow with my eyes those merging patterns I get a gorgeous sense of enrichment and balance.

Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience.
