This piece is composed of thousands of hand cut, sanded, and painted dowels, painstakingly arranged to represent a picture that a particular client wanted. This is the result of one of the two panels that were ordered. So this exact item is not available, but is serving as a demonstration of what the product might look like. The last product picture is the actual photograph that the client took, so you can see the comparison. It is not meant to be an exact copy, more of a representation of the forest. I ended up bringing the overall brightness down to a more pleasant level, which allowed me to insert pops of different color here and there. We can discuss what it is you would like, if you'd like a very realistic representation of the picture that is possible, I would consider this one slightly more impressionistic. The client and myself had multiple phone conversations to discuss the intent, style and direction of this piece. I love working with people to get them the exact piece of art they want for their space.
This piece pictured is 56"w x 24"h, meant to fill a particular area. The price would be determined by the overall size, and the complexity of the picture you want recreated. Please note, I will not remake this piece, it is a custom item for a client, his own personal photograph. You can give me a photograph of your own, and I will re-create it in this pointillistic manner. If it's a smaller, less complex picture it will cost less, just message me to get specific pricing for your project.
All pieces of art found in this shop can be customized for size, coloration, overall shape. If you have a custom project in mind I'd love to talk with you about it.
EASY TO HANG: each piece comes with a heavy duty hanging wire included, simply put it on a nail in a stud and enjoy! If a different hanging system is required just ask, we can do whatever you need.
