A Beautiful Danger is a stunningly poignant and gorgeous art work. It must be seen in person and will not disappoint. It draws viewers in...what looks like a painting reveals intricately embroidered birds, flowers, and butterflies and dimensional areas that pop. I wanted to create a lovely, saccharine-sweet, natural world of my making, in which to hide from the demands of current politics...to create a glorious space in which to be happy. It will be hard for me to part with this one. The frame is an extremely high quality and gorgeous carved wood with a shiny lacquer finish. Materials: Fabric- chinoiserie, thread, heat transfers, dyes.Technique: Free Motion Machine Embroidery, hand painted and dyed, heat transfer process.
