Common House is a contemporary social club: a place to eat, drink and find inspiration in Charlottesville, Virginia. The building at 206 West Market Street was built in 1913 as a club in the historic neighborhood of Vinegar Hill. Common House aims to return this house to its former glory as a contemporary social hub that represents the entire Charlottesville community.
Common House offers the community a place to work, dine and engage together. The first floor pays homage to Vinegar Hill called Vinegar Hall. It will be work space by day and a rentable venue by night. Other amenities offered by the club include a banquet hall, lounge, tea room, library, bridge and billiards room, multiple bars, kitchen, and a rooftop terrace.
