DZINE’s passion for modern furnishings is driven by the belief that design is ultimately about living with greater comfort, elegance and ease. It was in this spirit that DZINE opened in a small shop on Columbus Avenue in North Beach in October 2004. The company then moved a year later to its present location in the heart of San Francisco’s design district. Over the past 13 years, DZINE has grown dramatically and now inhabits a 15,000 square foot showroom. Currently featuring over 30 contemporary furniture manufacturers, it continues to add to that number. Originally a purveyor of European contemporary design, and specifically Italian furnishings, DZINE now also represents local makers, artists and a broad range of accessory manufacturers. The company creates a unique opportunity for communication and creative exchange by bridging these worlds through its showroom events that include lectures and exhibitions, making the cutting edge of design accessible to everyone.
