She pursued a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering and was working in Cyber Security for several years. This fusion of engineering and creative fiber art techniques enabled her to approach projects with multifaceted designs, blending precision and innovation to create distinctive fiber art pieces.
Bharti is an award-winning artist and has exhibited her work in a juried art show at Dove Art Gallery, CA. In her capacity as an emerging artist, she has been working with interior designers and art curators and has been undertaking bespoke commissions for residential, commercial projects, and hospitality industries.

How do your pieces come to life? Tell us one interesting thing about your creative process?
"Usually designs are born in my mind and there is a big role played by nature in deciding it’s flow. I spend a lot of time designing the technical aspects/feasibility of my art including the look, type of material needed for that look, and relevant mounting possibilities. Once everything comes together, I start implementing my design and hence soul is poured into it!"

What do you want people to do or feel when they encounter your creations?
"I expect people to feel joy and warmth by looking at my art work. I would be really happy if people could relate their feelings with my work."

What is your favorite material to work with?
"My favorite materials to work with are all natural fibers like cotton, jute, raffia, sea grass and so on.. I like the earthy fragrance of natural fibers, they remind me of the smell of the earth during the first rain. Every natural fiber has their own texture and personality which impress me a lot!"
