Best known for her organic compositions, Delaware artist Susan Benarcik exhibits a range of artwork- from life-sized sculptural installations of natural and found materials, to highly tactile collage, and bold abstract paintings that are influenced by her interest in botany. Susan has a master’s degree from Cranbrook, and has been awarded multiple fellowships and awards throughout her career including a Pollock-Krasner Foundation grant, and an NEA Challenge America Grant, and an Established Artist Grant from Delaware Division of the Arts. Susan’s work is exhibited in galleries, museums, national art fairs, sculpture parks and a number of gardens and arboreta.
