LiLi Jackson is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer, living and working in Brooklyn and San Juan who attempts to make the world a better place through sustainable art and design. Informed by nature, her 3D pieces utilize wood, clay, mycelium and recycled products. Reverential of artisan traditions, she innovates within them, turning methods and materials to new uses.
Traditionally a furniture maker, time and space constrictions, and considerations of Covid life led her to reconnect with her love of shooting Point and Click film.
With backgrounds in global environmental policy and industrial design, her work feels drawn towards magic and natural spaces, seeking balance between function and meaning, shaped by space and context.
