"An art & textile design studio that showcases the founder's love of bold color, pattern and heritage crafts."
K’era is a Los Angeles-based mixed media artist and textile designer.
Employing an intuitive creative process, her mixed-media work is heavily influenced by nature as well as metaphysics. Her work is regularly featured in gallery exhibitions and has been featured in variety publications as well as selected by some of the top production designers in Hollywood for various entertainment and commercial productions. With a growing fanbase of collectors across the globe, Morgan's work resides in private residencies as well as commercial spaces often working with individual clients (art collectors, interior designers) on commissions for specific installations. Most of what you'll find on Wescover are her abstract paintings and woven tapestries that are created with the help of skilled artisans.
K’era graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA in textile design.
How do your pieces come to life? Tell us one interesting thing about your creative process?
"My process is unique in the fact that I don't work from sketches or studies. I generally never have a plan of a final piece and allow my intuition to guide me each time I enter my studio to work."
