Jill Morton is an abstract expressionist artist born and raised in Australia. In her twenties she explored clay and textiles while travelling in Europe and Asia. In the U.S. she obtained a B.F.A. in painting from the School of Visual Arts and two Master’s Degrees in art and education from Teachers College, Columbia in New York city. She currently resides in Connecticut where she taught children’s art in public school for 23 years. Jill currently maintains a full-time studio practice in Bridgeport, CT at Metro Art Studios. Her work resides in private collections across the U. S.IMPACT
