"I paint my own world"
I paint objects from different backgrounds and cultures that are universally known to everyone but I try and connects them with my own experiences. In reverse glass / Perspex paintings, each object needs to be treated in the opposite, left becomes right and right becomes left. Light highlights come first and darks later. Currently, I live and work from my Bo Kaap home. Studio visits can be arranged by appointment.
