Cami Levin was born and raised in Southern California - a child of two creatives - her Father was a glass Artist, and her Mother was a designer of clothing and handbags. Cami was educated at Cal State Long Beach, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She later realized her true passion was the act of creating art, and although her education in Psychology has provided an unexpected compliment to her Artistic endeavors, she returned to earn an additional degree in Fine Art.
Cami is best known for her original, mixed media art, which is created primarily with paint, clay, resin and found objects depicting an enchanting vision of nature which includes symbols of hope, love, happiness, and stories of life. Her work begs the viewer to look time and again, always finding something new and has been described as art within art. She takes the details to the limits, creating work that literally and figuratively sparkles and brings joy and wonder to her collectors. Her current focus is on three different series of work: Trees of Love, Journey of Women and Squares of Reflection. Each series is unique; however, all three convey the same media and approach - an expression of numerous and almost random seeming symbols fashioned into an orderly design.
Cami is a full-time career Artist and has been exhibited in numerous group and solo shows and is included in private collections around the world. Cami currently lives and works in Dana Point, California where she is blessed by a daily abundance of divine inspiration.
