"design at the intersection of craftsmanship and technology"
Alejandra is a trained architect applying computational design and fabrication in her practice. Her architectural studies led her to live in multiple cities until she settled in New York City, where she has setup her design studio. Born and raised in Peru, she was always surrounded by art and artisanal work that inspired her design approach, “I find my creative process involves thinking with my hands.” Through her architectural training she found new technologies that allowed her to bring intricate geometries to life. Her research explores the design possibilities where craftmanship meets high-tech.
