The “Terra Firma” series
This textured abstract painting is inspired by old world pottery, one of the oldest human handicrafts that is both utilitarian and ceremonial. Allow this piece to ground you to the present but draw you in with its nod to ancient worlds. The artist shaped the texture with her hands and finished with the refined chaos of a rag and paint brush.
