In this creation, I've melded oil and wax to fabricate textures that evoke a sense of depth and dynamism. It's a blend of abstract and semi-abstract forms, a tapestry of emotional expression and symbolic narrative about resilience and renewal. Inspired by the pulse of nature, it is sure to add color and light to any room it occupies. “Homeward Flight” was inspired by an emerging chrysalis stumbled upon during a walk in the mountains - a visual metaphor for the freedom found in the artist’s environment. This 36”x 36”x 1.75”, oil and cold wax on cradled wood panel. This artwork can be rotated 90 degree counter-clockwise for an alternate view (see photographs as example).Framing on request.
